The 2010 racing schedule for Victoria will be released early in the New Year with no real surprises?

Have trouble finding any bears of late
none were at club party or last saturday run
for disadvantaged kids or even to do a track grade
is any body out there ?????????

The coming season of racing at penfield has had dates finalised and the programme will be releasd within a few days.

The w/end 3rd & 4th of October will see the OQSA Victorian Speedway Titles on saturday and the Grandview Classic on sunday. The program will be a busy one and entries will be available shortly.
Saturday will have a 11am start and finish under lights and sunday will start at 9.30am with a 3.30pm finish. These times may alter slighty depending on car counts. Entries will close Friday 18th September as both days will be predrawn and programmed. Late nominations ROF

Yes, Dates confirmed!!!! The weekend of March 14/15th 2009 has been confirmed for the running of the postponed South Australian Title and the 4th OQSA Nationals
at Penfield Model Park.

Both OQSA sanctioned events will be run under OQSA rules and race format with heat races pre drawn for both events.

Details and entry forms will be available from January 10th with entries closing mid-February.

Sprintcar Events for Penfield (5 replies)

The October 11th Open Day 2008 at Penfield will see the first running of
The Presidents Sprintcar Cup.
Racing will get under way about 1.30pm and the support class will be the Penfield Buggies. Nomination and race details will be available in August 2008.

The Jan 10th 2009 meeting will now most likely be the SA Sprintcar / Stockcar Championship meeting and not the 1/5 scale Buggy trophy event as programmed in the Penfield race dates earlier.

Confirmation will be notified after it has been to the Penfield Model Engineers Society meeting next week. Details of all Penfield events will be on the this and the new Penfield website shortly.

This coming saturdays (July 12) race meeting at Grandview Speedway has been cancelled due to recent heavy rain and the forecast of more.

This Sunday 25th sees another open day at Penfield Model Engineers Society.
Boats and Trains will be running as well as all classes of Speedway.With this open day being the last competitive hit out before the Outlaw Nationals should be a few guys looking to get some serious track time. Weather conditions are expected to be fine and sunny and dont forget enclosed footwear if you wish to ride the trains
Canteen facilities are available on site.

The King of the Mountain will be decided at Grandview Speedway on Sat 7th June 2008 with a 10.30am start.

Saturday 21st June 2008 will see the 3rd running of the OQSA Nationals with nomination forms to go out this week. Entry will be $30 for members and $60 for non-members

All OQSA meetings are run to OQSA rules and these rules complete with amendments will be posted with Nomination forms
